Ever wondered how you could redesign your home without having to pay an expensive interior designer to do it for you? Technology offers the solution you need, and for practically no cost at all. I’m pretty amazed at how helpful these tools are and I used some of them myself for inspiration too.
Technology has had a great impact on interior and home design. I came across this article that says the industry is now worth $7.3 billion and continues to grow annually, especially with the increased usage of smartphones. Currently, a big chunk of the overall global tech data consumed on a daily basis comes from mobile devices. Gaming Realms, producer of the award-winning mobile software Pocketfruity, states mobile is responsibly for more than 50% of the tech data consumed, surpassing popular desktop PCs. Although most home design software still requires powerful devices like PCs to run it, these tools now have their own smartphone apps as well to aid designers and beginners in creating their dream home while still within their budget.
In this post, I share three of the best home interior design apps that I like to help you decorate your humble abode.
1. Houzz

It also curates the best home products and a directory of local professionals you can work with (designers, architects, contractors). The Houzz Interior Design Ideas is free to install.

2. Mark On Call

The app is made for both professional interior designers and homeowners alike. It assists in designing and space planning for homes through its many different tools. 3. Home 3D
Another great app that helps you visualize certain furniture in your home is the Home 3D app. It also provides suggestions on which items will fit in certain spaces to maximize each area or room effectively. You can go around floors and windows to set materials via the app to see how it fits the area. Images of the area with certain items can also be saved on your device or via Dropbox, in case your interior designer needs additional ideas.
Although these smartphones tools can be very helpful, some home solutions require professional help. Don’t be afraid to seek assistance from experts in case your house needs assistance from the professionals.
