A cup of tea or a glass of squeezed lemon in water.. that’s what my mornings look like. Most of the time I have a slice of sugar-free wheat bread with peanut butter. I love that! (May have to stop eating wheat bread, a friend told me it is really bad.) The thing about mornings.. not a single one is the same! But wouldn’t your mornings be so much better if you had a pretty breakfast nook like these photos below?
I love white kitchens! There is something about having white kitchens, perhaps it makes things look clean? It certainly adds a bigger dimension to space. What is a kitchen without plants and flowers? Ah, those really add life and charm.
Notice how mixing colors and patterns add life to this sitting area? It looks so much happier and using basic, neutral fabric would be totally dull.
We have a small dining area in our kitchen. It’s where we eat everyday meals as a family and up until today, I never saw it as a breakfast nook. Now I want to dress it up some more and add color. Nothing that a few flowers and wall art can’t fix!
Would you like to have your own breakfast nook? Here are a few secrets so that you can make this happen:
- Get rid of clutter. Utilize storage space and use pretty decorative jars to hide kitchen condiments. I always transfer my condiments like soy sauce and cooking oil into pretty bottles.
- Use fresh flowers and plants to add life to your room.
- Go for mix and matched furniture to give an interesting twist to your design
Have an inspired day!
