If you live in a home, you are blessed with space to make a pretty foyer. There are those that are meant to look good and welcome the eyes into the home. There are foyers that are more functional equipped with coat racks and shoe storage. These are ideal for entry ways secluded from the rest of the house. In our apartment, I can see the foyer from the dining and living room so it had to blend with the rest of the house. Here are some links to some of my favorite foyers.
I struggled with my foyer for the longest time and had to work on things gradually due to budget constraints. I began with two frames of family portraits and eventually bought a console table. Here is how it looked and I put up with this for months.
I eventually bought more wall decor and used metallic to brighten up the area. I got a gorgeous copper mirror and Scandinavian Umbra wall plant holder from Allure Living. The round gold sun mirror is from H&M Home.
Things look much more balanced, and every so often I buy fresh flowers to put on the console table. Flowers add so much happiness and brighten up the space instantly.
I am finally happy with the outcome and the flat is slowly looking more like a home. Have you got any favorite foyer and entry way ideas? I’d love to see them! Happy weekend!
