Some years after I graduated from Interior Design School, I had the chance to be a contributor for Real Living Magazine by designing a couple of their room makeovers. I always enjoyed working with them and applaud at how their style and cover has evolved throughout the years. It was a blessing to be featured in their March 2014 issue.
I love the cover and their use of complimenting colors and playful font.

This month focuses on the bed and bath. You’ll surely be equipped to tackle any of your home renovations with their 139 bed and bath finds! The magazine also discusses practical solutions to avoiding common bathroom mishaps like waterproofing problems and loose and dirty tiles. You’ll find a detailed guide to selecting bathroom tubs and fixtures aside from a whole lot of other accessories.
In this issue, the home of Jigs Mayuga, a makeup artist to the country’s top models and celebrities was also featured. The meeting of masculine, feminine and quirky really makes his home magazine worthy. As I used to do makeovers for this publication, I immediately scanned this issue for that article. A small bedroom was transformed into a light and airy haven, leaving no trace of the clutter once there. It turned out to be very different from how it was then.
