It takes guts to go bold with sofa colors, but here are 7 living rooms that have used colored sofas quite well. We usually see the usual neutral sofas and I must admit that even I have never gone for anything so bold but these photographs are proof that a pop of color can look classy and fun! I’ve always thought that sofas should be neutral in color because it was such a huge piece of furniture. I felt like having something as colorful as a lollipop in the middle of my living room would be an eyesore but when your surroundings and back ground wall remains white or neutral then a bold colored sofa can work.
This dark blue sofa is something I could totally live with. It is still somewhat neutral which I like. The gallery wall behind is perfect too!
I’m not sure I like this mustard sofa, but the mid-century design theme is perfect for such a color and style.
I love the style of this sofa but the old rose is not my color. I would prefer a happier kind of pink. However, I must say it works well in this classic Parisian setting.
I love this turquoise sofa and appreciate the play of mid- century and fun colors.
I must say I am loving this emerald-green sofa and the neutral colors of the wall and art around it. I think the rug is a little too old style but it works.
I’m guessing by now you all know I love blush pink! This sofa caught my attention in all of its bubble gum pink glory! I love the black, yellow and wood surrounding it! This is a very interesting room and I feel like I can actually live in it!
This fun yellow couch positioned against a neutral wall with simple black and brown art is looking very classy to me. I love this set- up!
