I didn’t mean to coin these words, but I talked about it briefly in these posts Mom Sheds and My Own Home Office and then two TV shows started interviewing me about it. My friend Rica made me realize how important this is and how moms really need this in their own home. It need not be a room or a big space. It can be located in a small part of your house or situated strategically on a piece of furniture. Its’ purpose may vary from a work station, home office, crafts room, or simply a place to stare out and unwind but what is important is that you create this to please you. Here are some great mommy space ideas.
