As I was browsing through Pinterest, I could not help but notice a few gorgeous dressing rooms complete with an oh so pretty vanity dresser. It took me back in time as I recalled the wooden dresser with a round mirror that my sisters and I shared. They had lots of drawers, we’d keep our hair accessories and play jewelry in it. Today I am of course drawn to the white ones. And no, the modern streamlined ones don’t attract me. I am enchanted by those of the French Provincial theme, one with feminine details to complete this furniture piece.
Bright natural light. I think it adds to the charm.. It is also best for applying makeup. I love the tall windows and the warm wooden floor adds character.
Graceful legs, quaint and rustic pieces in vintage white is totally charming. Repainting old furniture to look like this is another way you can easily create your own vanity room.
Adding fresh flowers, glass, metallic bottles and containers make any surface in a vanity come to life.
What are the products on your vanity? I recently discovered a new line of plant- based skin care and I love it! Nuxe, a French line of skin care that was created in the early 1990’s. Their first product, Huile Prodigieuse was a huge success. It is an awesome multipurpose product that comes in a bottle of dry oil with an amazing scent. I got a bottle and although it is designed to nourish, repair and soften the face, I use it on the body too.
Their anti aging product called Nuxellence is what I like for the face. It comes in a striking purple bottle, and smells very subtle and mild. What I love about Nuxe is that they source everything that goes into their line from the botanical world.
NUxe is distributed in the Philippines by Rustans Marketing Corporation. Please visit @nuxeph on Instagram to see more.
