In between all the design work I do for clients, I manage to sneak in some time to do the concept for my house. I’ve got the ground floor all in my mind but the living area isn’t coming to life just yet. I want an eclectic Scandinavian vibe. Still clean and white but with some well curated furniture pieces. Here is what I have so far:

I am in love with this area rug! It’s neutral but still pretty and not imposing. I found a similar one from decoliving manila which I may consider. They have the best service and good quality rugs from different parts of the world.

I do have to make use of some old furniture I have but dreaming and wishing is free right? I will probably re- upholster my old sofa and change the wood finish of my solid acacia side tables. Here are a few things I wish to have, including the rug form decoliving.

Hi Marilen, from your blueprint / sketch, it seems you have two sets of living room? or is the other more of a TV area?
Hi Rachiel! Yes I have one living room that is rectangular and two seating areas. You might see some photos on Instagram. The bigger seating area is infront of the TV and it has a big area rug. The smaller seating area is by the corner.. that is the part that I still need a rug for but I am looking for an irregular shaped one.
