Today was a full day for me! It started quite early as the kids had a play date with their homeschool group. We took them to Kidzoona in Robinsons Galeria, the best indoor play ground in town by far! I always look forward to Wednesdays because it is when us homeschooling moms get together to teach our kids in a classroom setting. We cover the subjects Bible and Values, Science, and Social Studies integrated with Filipino. I love my co- moms! We take turns teaching a particular subject and they always do such creative lessons! Today was play to develop their gross motor skills and have fun. We all had lunch together then the moms had some Bible study and we prayed for each other. I had to rush to Cubao for a meeting with a possible contractor for a big project I am designing then I dragged my kids with me to the home depot. In the middle of all this, crawling the Manila traffic and listening to my kids sing, argue and chat.. I was formulating this blog post.
I truly believe in living a relaxed life when you have an inspired home. This week I was ready to share tips on how to make your kitchen more organized and beautiful but decided to share with you something so important.. How to do a home purge. I wrote this article for makeitblissful.. it’s so relevant and I feel that it deserves to be part of our #inspiredhomeliving series.
When we are creating a home, we get so caught up with every day life that we fail to clean, and let go. Releasing things we don’t need is a great way to pave the way for a more organized and beautiful home. Please visit my article How to Start The Year With A Home Purge to get the complete list so you can embark on your home purge for the year. I share tips on how to get started and what to look for as you clean every room in the house.
Hoping this inspires you to start giving and cleaning! As you do so, please join our Instagram challenge:
To get you in the groove of things I’d like to invite you all to join the home purge movement on Instagram by adding the hashtags #blissfulhomepurge and #inspiredhomelivinghomepurge I believe that we could all use some motivation and encouragement from each other. Seeing each others posts is a great way to inspire you to make your home blissful.
