I have been trying to prepare fancier breakfast meals for my children. While it may require me to get up a little earlier each day, hearing my kids say “Mom! this is the yummiest breakfast ever!” makes it all worth it. I believe in exposing the kids to different flavors, and they always know that they should always try everything once before they say they don’t like it. Nutrition is an important thing for me and ever since they were babies the kids have gotten used to eating vegetables and healthy food. Making things look more appealing is another way we can encourage them to eat healthy.
Here is a super yummy and nutritious meal that you can easily make for your kids…
whole wheat tortilla wraps
It is as easy as it looks! Spread the almond butter and cream cheese, top with banana slices then grill in a panini maker. In case you are wondering, I got my almond butter from the Echo Store. Once you are done, add some strawberry slices for toppings and finish off with a dash of cinnamon. It was so yummy and surprisingly filling too!
